The Knicks host the Miami Heat for their first meeting between the two teams since the Knicks transformed their team with the addition of OG Anunoby, giving them the exact type of player every playoff contender wants to have on their squad in the playoffs (it’s no secret that the other teams that were trying to get OG were all playoff contenders, as well).
So this is a really nice “measuring tape” game against a team the Knicks might very well face in the first round of the playoffs.
But, honestly, after destroying the defending NBA champions the other day, the Knicks really don’t “need” this win at all.
