Former Wizards big man relishing opportunity with Knicks

Tired of unpredictable playing time in Washington, 6-foot-10 center Kevin Seraphin felt it was time for a change.

Seraphin averaged 15 minutes in 79 games last season for the playoff-bound Wizards, but for the first time in his career, didn’t start a single game. And the 25-year-old didn’t see his role increasing in 2015-16, leading the French-speaking big man to accept the Knicks’ offer of the $2.8 million room exception on Aug. 6.

“It’s just like I’ve been there for five years, I know how it goes,’’ Seraphin told The Post after the Knicks’ first practice at West Point.
