The NBA world was rocked on Monday when ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Warriors GM and president Bob Myers was stepping down from his duties. Earlier this year when reports began to surface that Myers’ extension talks with the Warriors weren’t gaining traction, the New York Knicks were identified as one of the possible teams that could go after Myers.
Woj wrote that Myers is “unsure of his future professional pathway” but that if he decides to return to a team, he’d be one of “the most pursued executives in modern North America professional sports history.
