ATLANTA — While the Knicks finished up their Wednesday morning workout on the floor at State Farm Arena, Kevin Knox stopped and spoke for a while with a man on the sidelines wearing a throwback Bernard King jersey. Older, not quite the trim scoring machine he was in his day though, it was King himself.
Continuing the procession of former Knicks and NBA stars to stop by and speak with team -- a group that has included Patrick Ewing, Bill Bradley, Walt Frazier and Chris Bosh -- King met the team near his Atlanta home and spoke, offering advice and encouragement to the young, struggling group.
