Free-agent guard Austin Rivers has agreed to deal with New York Knicks, a source tells ESPN.
After four years with the LA Clippers, Rivers spent short stints on the Wizards and Suns before finding a home with the Houston Rockets, who signed him off waivers in December of the 2018-19 season.
Rivers, 28, settled into a bench role there, averaging 8.8 points in 23.4 minutes per game for Houston last season. He was set to make under $2.4 million this season with the Rockets but decided to opt out of his contract.
