Kristaps Porzingis Struggles In Knicks' Loss

Kristaps Porzingis has been incredible early this season for the New York Knicks, but struggled against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Knicks' 106-91 loss.

Porzingis had 12 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes of action. He also committed five turnovers and five fouls. It was a back-to-back game for the Knicks, and Porzingis looked gassed.

"It’s going to be like this back-to-back, the next day you have to prepare your body and mind," Porzingis said. “I think we didn’t come out as aggressive and focused as we came out [Friday versus the Nets]. It’s hard after these trips; you guys know the schedule."

Star forward Carmelo Anthony tried to remind everyone that Porzingis is just a rookie and that off nights happen.

"He ain’t going to be the great Kristaps every day," Anthony said. "He’s due for a game here and there to enjoy this process. It happens."

Porzingis is averaging 14 points per game, 9.2 rebounds per game and 1.9 blocks per game. He's been one of the best rookies in the NBA this season.
