Knicks Offseason News: New York Working On Deal To Acquire Jamal Crawford

The New York Knicks "have expressed interest" in Clippers guard Jamal Crawford, according to the New York Daily News' Frank Isola.

However, what will likely hold back a deal from being done is that Jose Calderon only piece the Knicks could move that would make a deal for Crawford work legally under the CBA, and the Clippers won't make that trade. New York would have to include many future assets to make a deal work, which they're hesitant to do.

Crawford was acquired by the Knicks in 2004 under the Isiah Thomas regime, but after Thomas was fired in 2008, Donnie Walsh traded Crawford to the Golden State Warriors.
