Arron Afflalo Injures Hamstring In Final Preseason Game

New York Knicks forward Arron Afflalo injured his hamstring in their final preseason game against the Boston Celtics, and head coach Derek Fisher wouldn't make any promises about Afflalo's availablity for their season opener against the Bucks:

"I can't overanalyze something we don't understand just yet," Fisher said. "We'll take a look at him closer over the next couple of days and kind of figure out what the program is and what the treatment plan is and then we can kind of decide whether we should be concerned. Until we really understand where he is, I don't think we can predict where he'll be on Wednesday night."

Afflalo signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Knicks this offseason.

He averaged 13.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game with the Nuggets and Trail Blazers last season.
