New York Knicks To Make Run At Magic's Tobias Harris During 2015 Free Agency?

In this Knicks news and rumors bulletin, the New York Knicks might be setting their sights on young Orlando Magic forward Tobias Harris when it comes to spending money in free agency next July.

A "Harris confidant" remarked to Knicksblog.com's Adam Zagoria, "I’m telling you if the Knicks come at him hard, who wouldn’t want to play for their hometown team?"

The source also talked about a budding relationship between the young Harris and Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony.

"They play well together," the confidant said about scrimmage games the two have played with one another. "Carmelo always had him on his team when Kevin Durant came to town and they would win every game.”

The Knicks will have enough expiring contract (Amar'e Stoudemire, Andrea Bargnani) off the books to make a legitimate run at Harris next summer, despite the fact that he will only be a restricted free agent. The dynamic and long Harris is currently averaging 17.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game with the Orlando Magic this season.
