Knicks News: Andrea Bargnani expects to make season debut Wednesday vs. Clippers

New York Knicks center Andrea Bargnani expects to make his season debut Wednesday when the Knicks visit the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center, per Marc Berman of the New York Post:

Bargnani has missed the entire season with a hamstring strain and a calf strain, and was held out of Sunday's loss despite being able to do footwork drills before Saturday's practice.

Head coach Derek Fisher hasn't made an official announcement on Bargnani's status, but appeared optimistic earlier this week when discussing the big man's current health situation.

"His workouts are progressing," Fisher said. "As long as he's getting good feedback there, hopefully we're getting closer."
