Jets head coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday that there is a chance quarterback Sam Darnold suits up on Sunday, despite the strained right foot that held him out of the week's first practice.
But if he's unable to practice throughout the week, would Darnold still be able to take control of the huddle and lead the offense against the Bills?
The rookie quarterback seems confident he could handle the task.
"Yeah I mean, I'm getting a lot of mental reps out there," Darnold said. "I'm really locked in during practice and understanding what our game plan is and all that.
