The Jets quarterback situation may become a little more interesting as the NFL draft inches ever closer.
According to an ESPN report, the Jets, who have the 20th pick, have set their sights on Memphis’ Paxton Lynch and Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg, inviting both to a pre-draft visit at the team’s Florham Park facilities.
Lynch is considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in this year’s class, tossing 28 touchdowns and just four interceptions for the Tigers.
Lynch has the prototype NFL build — standing 6-foot-7 with a powerful arm — but has not operated in a pro-style offense.
