NEW YORK -- Phil Simms sees the 2018 version of his former team much differently than the crosstown NFL organization.
Simms, a former Giants star quarterback and current TV analyst, said Tuesday he expects the Giants to make the playoffs in 2018 and expects the Jets to miss out for the eighth straight season.
"I do think they're a definite playoff contender," Simms said of the Giants at NFL on CBS media day. "As an announcer and as an analyst and being an ex-Giant, I would be disappointed if they're not a playoff team.
