Was Jets lineman Henry Anderson's hit on Bills kicker Steven Hauschka dirty or borderline?

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Special-teams coordinator Brant Boyer understood why the Bills were upset by the block Jets lineman Henry Anderson put on kicker Steven Hauschka on Sunday.

The Jets blocked a field-goal attempt just before halftime, and Rontez Miles picked the ball up and ran with it. Anderson leveled Hauschka as he started making his way toward the sideline in case he needed to make a tackle. Hauschka wasn’t looking when Anderson drilled him from the side on the left shoulder.

No penalty was called. Boyer said he went over to Hauschka to check how he was and later sent a message to Bills special-teams coach Danny Crossman.
