Past Garrett Wilson, every available target in the New York Jets’ offense is up for grabs.
New York’s wide receiver room is filled with players from every type of background. It includes rookie draft picks, former undrafted free agents, steady veterans, erratic veterans, and a sixth-year journeyman looking to prove his worth: Tyler Johnson.
Johnson was taken by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL draft after an extremely productive college career at Minnesota (3,094 yards, 30 touchdowns). Lacking impressive speed but displaying solid strength at 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, he projected as a physical possession receiver in the NFL.
