Christian Hackenberg spent the offseason revamping his throwing motion — not that you would know it from watching practice Tuesday.
Hackenberg got zero reps during team and 7-on-7 drills during the Jets’ first organized team activity of the spring. He was a spectator as Sam Darnold, Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater rotated at quarterback.
“It’s out of my control,” Hackenberg said. “All I know is I’m 23 and I have a lot of ball ahead of me. Hell, my career hasn’t even started yet.”
The 2016 second-round pick has not played a snap in his first two years with the Jets.
