The Jets-Patriots mega-spread dropped half a point at William Hill sportsbooks on Thursday morning, leaving New England as a 23-point favorite for Sunday’s game in Foxborough, Mass. But Nick Bogdanovich, William Hill’s director of trading, expects the line to head north again closer to kickoff.
“We had a few [Jets] bets at 23¹/u2082, and it looks like someone was betting [them] everywhere because a lot of lines moved,” Bogdanovich said. “But on Saturday and Sunday morning, nine out of 10 bets will be on New England in some fashion, either on the spread or the total or in parlays [and other bets].
