There was a big hullabaloo surrounding the New York Jets at the trade deadline. And it involved Jamal Adams being upset that the New York Jets would (gasp!) accept calls from other teams about trading for Jamal Adams. All of this after Jamal and the Jets had a sit down where the Jets proclaimed Adams was a “someone to build the franchise around”.

I’m not denying that Jamal Adams isn’t a fantastic player. He’s got 12 sacks, over 200 tackles, and 22 QB hits in his 3-year career.
