The Jets’ $72 million man struggles again in return

Trumaine Johnson got a rude welcome back from the Bills.

Johnson returned to the starting lineup Sunday after missing the previous five games with a quad injury. The Bills greeted him by targeting him on the first play. Rookie Robert Foster, who was signed off the practice squad Saturday, beat Johnson and Bills quarterback Matt Barkley hit him for a 47-yard gain.

“They had a game plan,” Johnson said while chuckling. “All credit to them. They did good. We lost today as a team.”
