The NY Jets have always been a cursed franchise, but the hope in signing quarterback Justin Fields to operate under Aaron Glenn was that he could be the force that helps eradicate the curse. It took two days in training camp for the Jets' bad mojo to rear its head.
Fields suffered what was deemed a lower leg injury, limping away after the first play of the second day of training camp. Fields was seen limping away from the practice field, walking very gingerly before the cart was needed to bring him to the locker room.
