Super Bowl 2016: Denver Broncos safety Ryan Murphy gets the hook after prostitution sting

Denver Broncos safety Ryan Murphy was not cited after getting caught up in a prostitution sting on Tuesday in San Jose, Calif., but the practice squadder's Super Bowl 50 experience will nonetheless come to an early conclusion.

Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak announced Tuesday night that Murphy remains on the Denver practice squad, but he is being sent home after being questioned by San Jose police.

"Although practice squad safety Ryan Murphy was not cited by police, we decided it was best for the team if we continued our preparations for Super Bowl 50 without him," Kubiak said in a release issued by the team.
