Source: Ex-Redskins wideout Crowder to Jets

Former Washington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder plans to sign with the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

Crowder, 25, missed seven games last season with a sprained ankle and finished with a career-low 29 receptions for 383 yards and two touchdowns for Washington.

He had only missed one game in his first three seasons, though he often missed time in training camp with nagging injuries.

Crowder has been one of the more effective slot receivers since entering the NFL as a fourth-round pick (105th overall) out of Duke in 2015.
