A 20-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in the , outside a Manhattan nightclub last month, the police said on Tuesday.
The man, Frederick Green of the Bronx, who had evaded authorities for three weeks, was picked up near Buffalo on Monday by members of the U.S. Marshals Service and brought back to Manhattan, according to law enforcement officials.
Mr. Green was also charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, the police said. As of Tuesday afternoon, he was the only person charged in the shooting and his arraignment was pending. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
