Ravens’ Lamar Jackson puts on show as Jets can merely watch

BALTIMORE — You don’t catch an Indy 500 race car with a tractor, or an army of tractors. Lamar Jackson, who had five TD passes and 86 rushing yards Thursday night, was playing at one speed, warp speed, and the Jets’ defenders seemed to be wearing 10-pound weights on their feet while running in quicksand.

That’s when the Ravens quarterback wasn’t making a mockery yet again of anyone who thought he might want to convert to wide receiver despite a right arm that grows more golden by the week.

It was 13-0 after the Ravens’ first two series, 21-7 after their first three series, and over and out by the third quarter and 42-21 at the end.
