The Jets are just nine days away from opening up the 2018 NFL season with a Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. With the preseason complete, all of the Jets' bubble players learned their fate during Saturday's cutdown day. Plus, a number of the team's position battles have already been decided or are at least close to wrapping up.
The entire preseason has been building toward this – Darnold as the Week 1 starter. He slowly took the reigns throughout training camp, then locked up the spot with his solid play during the first three preseason games.
