Post-Game Recap: Jets beat Dolphins, 20 – 6

In their home opener, the Jets faced the Miami Dolphins at Met Life Stadium. Looking for their first win of the season, New York came into the contest ranked 31st and 32nd in offense and defense, respectively. The team was trying to avoid starting the season 0-3, in a game which was the 103rd regular-season meeting between the two teams.

THE GOOD

The Jets’ defense pitched a shutout for most of the game. They held RB Jay Ajayi to 16 yards and the Miami offense to only 1 for 12 on third-down efficiency.
