It might be a cool Tuesday in February, but one of the AFC East’s fiercest rivalries is heating up.
Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins made headlines on Monday when an interview surfaced in which he called the New York Jets’ defense “weirdos,” saying the Jets’ defenders “play the sport to try to be cool.” Dawkins also said he “hates” New York’s defense and that they “are a bunch of dudes who just want to take pictures on Instagram.”
Sauce Gardner quickly responded with a post that defended his motives for playing football, saying, “I play this game because I love it,” but he didn’t stop there.
