On Thursday afternoon the sports world went viral over a false report from a fake SportsCenter account that reported the NY Jets had signed free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick to a one-year deal for $9 million.
While that report was completely made up, ironically enough per TMZ Sports, Kaepernick and his team have reportedly reached out to the green and white.
Colin believes he would be a “great fit” with the organization but it’s unclear if the feeling is mutual between him and the NY Jets.
Obviously Gang Green has their franchise quarterback of the present and future in Sam Darnold, but the depth behind him is highly questionable, to say the least.
