NY Jets met virtually with Georgia OT Andrew Thomas ahead of 2020 NFL Draft

This week the NY Jets met virtually with former Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, per Jordan Reid of The Draft Network.

NFL teams are allowed a maximum of three video conference interactions a week for no longer than an hour in length per session.

This is the new world we’re living in amid the novel coronavirus. In a statement sent out to each NFL franchise, commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that the 2020 NFL Draft will be done entirely virtually this year.

While all of the details are unclear at this point, one thing is certain: the entire NY Jets coaching staff, scouting department, and front office will have to draft from their own homes.
