When the New York Jets drafted Armand Membou with the seventh overall pick in April’s draft, they hoped he could be an immediate starter along the offensive line – the last starter needed to complete what could be one of the best units in football for the foreseeable future.
As with any incoming rookie, adjustment periods are needed. Membou is not only learning a new playbook and system, but he is also learning how to be an NFL player. That kind of adjustment isn’t easy.
Despite all the trials that await Membou, the Jets are clearly high on him.
