NFL suspending Jets WR Jeremy Kerley, per reports

will be suspended by the NFL, according to multiple reports, though it remains unclear how long he will be suspended, and what policy he violated.

Kerley, 28, began his career with the Jets, from 2011-15. He was with the 49ers last season, after spending the early part of the offseason with the Lions.

The 49ers released him just before this season began, and the Jets re-signed him. They needed a couple veteran receivers, and general manager Mike Maccagnan got them, by signing Kerley and trading with Seattle for Jermaine Kearse.

But now, Kerley will be sidelined.
