NFL Rumor Central: Willie Colon isn't ready to retire just yet

Willie Colon still wants to leave football on his own terms. NJ.com's Darryl Slater has learned from a league source with knowledge of the situation, that the free-agent offensive lineman does not plan on retiring before the 2016 season. The guard spent the last three seasons with the New York Jets, starting 38 games during that stretch, before being sidelined with a knee injury which ultimately landed Colon on IR in 2015. He was replaced at right guard by Brian Winters, who Colon had beaten for the starting job in training camp.
