NFL Draft 2018: Who's replacing Jon Gruden on ESPN's coverage?

When Jon Gruden departed ESPN to become head coach of the Oakland Raiders, he left the worldwide leader with a big hole to fill on its Monday Night Football broadcasts.

Gruden also left ESPN with a gap in its coverage of the NFL Draft.

ESPN filled Gruden's role in the broadcast booth, at least temporarily, with Matt Hasselbeck, who filled in for coverage of the Pro Bowl.

Gruden's spot on the set at the draft will be filled by ESPN's lead college football analyst, Kirk Herbstreit.

ESPN announced Thursday that Herbstreit will be part of the opening-night coverage of the first round in prime time on April 26 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
