New York Jets WR Robby Anderson, CB Trumaine Johnson active for Week 1

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Adam Gase’s debut game as New York Jets head coach can be described as “relatively injury-free.”

Other than Avery Williamson’s season-long ACL nightmare, Gotham Green traveled through the month of August without serious health concerns. In fact, the only two up-in-the-air injury situations for the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills came out clean on the other side.

Wide receiver Robby Anderson and Trumaine Johnson are both active and ready to go on Sunday.

Anderson had been dealing with a calf while Johnson suffered through hamstring woes since the middle of August, sustaining the injury on an interception of Sam Darnold in camp.
