The New York Jets have updated the official uniform numbers for 29 of their players, most of which include rookies and new acquisitions.
The biggest number of them all goes to rookie offensive tackle Mekhi Becton. His No. 77 isn’t any bigger than other high, double-digit numbers, but considering his presence on the football field, that 77 will probably look a bit bigger in 20220.
Becton had his eye on No. 77 shortly after Joe Douglas and the Jets selected him as the No. 11 pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
