Apparently the New York Jets didn’t need Chris Herndon after all.
On Sunday the Jets got their first win of the season, 24-22 vs the Dallas Cowboys without the services of their stud tight end.
While the Jets got the dub, they still desperately need their tight end to come back as soon as possible.
The team made the first official step to making that happen on Monday afternoon by activating Herndon. In a corresponding move, the team waived linebacker Frankie Luvu.
New York was granted a roster exemption from the NFL after Chris returned from his four-game suspension.
