The New York Jets named Hymie Elhai the new team President on Tuesday morning. Elhai was previously the team’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

Elhai has been with the Jets since 2000. His first full-time duties with the team came through the manager of legal affairs and business development position. The last five seasons saw Elhai in his senior vice president role, handling a variety of team legal matters.
