On Sunday several former New York Jets achieved Super Bowl glory. The band of rejects was led by defensive lineman Mike Pennel who spent two years in the green and white.
Pennel was the only one to receive any game action on Super Bowl Sunday as Mo Claiborne, Darron Lee, and Elijah McGuire held their red pom poms on the sideline as members of the inactive list.
They were each originally part of the infamous Todd Bowles era (24-40 during his tenure with the New York Jets).
