Former first-round pick Johnny Manziel has a long, hard road back to the NFL. His current position in the CFL, however, is being carefully watched.
Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reported that New York Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan was in attendance to watch Manziel’s first game in the Canadian Football League on Friday night.
Rodak also reported a pro scout from the Houston Texans was on hand to watch Manziel play for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner came in and took part in 23 plays for the Tiger-Cats and had pretty fine results.
