The great Larry Grantham has passed away at the age of 78, the New York Jets announced late Sunday night.

To this day, Grantham, a member of the Jets Super Bowl III champions, remains the greatest linebacker in the team’s history.
He was also a member of the original 1960 team named the New York Titans. Drafted as a second-round pick in ’60, Grantham played his entire 13-year NFL/AFL career with the organization.
