The New York Jets finally did it. After a frustrating start to the season filled with close losses and missed opportunities, Gang Green got their first win of the year today. It wasn’t pretty, but it was real, and for a fan base that’s been desperate for something positive, that’s more than enough for now.
For once, the script flipped. The defense came up with big plays in critical moments, the offensive line held up just long enough, and the offense showed flashes of rhythm that fans have been waiting to see since Week One. Justin Fields looked confident, Breece Hall ran with purpose, and somehow the offense moved the ball, even with Garrett Wilson sitting this one out.
