New York Jets coach uses expletive-filled rant to describe Sam Darnold

Going into season No. 2 in the NFL, New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold is poised to have a big year. With a new head coach in Adam Gase, a new running back in Le’Veon Bell, and a receiving core with potential, Darnold should take a big leap forward.

There’s a certain Jets coach that’s praising him in a way that isn’t suitable for children as well. It’s wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson.

When Jefferson spoke about their quarterback this week, he wanted everyone to excuse his language.

“Excuse my French when I say this,” Jefferson said, per Ethan Sears of the New York Post “But he’s a f–kin’ dude.
