The New York Jets claimed interior offensive lineman Pat Elflein off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings Monday afternoon.

Elflein, 26, was drafted by the Vikings in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. After initially playing center for the team over the first two seasons, Elflein shifted to guard. He played 14, 13 and 15 games over his first three seasons, respectively, prior to falling out of favor with the organization this season.
