New York Jets: Antonio Allen waived, Freddie Bishop in

The New York Jets have officially announced the releasing of safety Antonio Allen. Allen was drafted by the Jets in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL draft.

Allen was resigned by the Jets his first team this offseason after he was released by the Houston Texans. The South Carolina product found much success in his first three years with the green and white, collecting 110 tackles, 13 PDs and one interception in 38 games.
