The New York Jets will receive some much-needed reinforcements for their Sunday afternoon visit to Miami (1:00 p.m. ET, CBS), welcoming back running back Elijah McGuire and safety Rontez Miles from separate injury lists.
McGuire returns from the short-term injured reserve, having missed the first eight games of the season with a foot injury suffered during the first practice of training camp. He will begin his second season with the Jets, entering the league as the team’s sixth-round draft pick in 2017.
The Louisiana-Lafayette alum picked up 315 yards on 88 carries, one of which went for a score.
