ATLANTA — If things had gone differently last March, Ndamukong Suh might have ended up with the Jets instead of in the Super Bowl with the Rams.
Suh and the Jets engaged in talks after he was released by the Dolphins. The Jets made Suh an offer but changed their minds and rescinded it a few days later.
“It was close,” Suh said Monday of signing with the Jets. “I wanted to take a visit there. I had some good conversation with Todd Bowles and the defensive staff, but some things fell apart and I kind of went from there.
