Per his agent Sean Stellato, receiver Rashard Davis is on his way to the New York Jets. Davis, a James Madison alum, has one prior game of NFL experience with the 2019 Tennessee Titans.
His New York arrival creates a reunion with general manager Joe Douglas, who was part of the Philadelphia Eagles front office that gave Davis his original chance as an undrafted free agent. Though Davis did not appear in any regular season games, he nonetheless earned a Super Bowl ring when Philadelphia topped the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
