NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — If you turned on your radio at just the right moment to listen to the Jets-Colts game Monday night, you might have mistook it for a WWE broadcast.
About midway through the third quarter at MetLife Stadium, with the Jets trailing 31-3, two teen boys ran onto the field.
The ESPN broadcast did not show the events, but Westwood One’s Kevin Harlan and Boomer Esiason provided the play-by-play — or more like blow-by-blow.
“Now it’s the biggest cheer of the night as we’ve got a couple of idiots running out on the field right now, taking their shirts off, running all over the place,” Esiason said.
