On Monday, Miko Grimes, the wife of Tampa Bay cornerback Brent Grimes, blasted ex-Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum on Twitter.
Miko Grimes' tweet, which also criticized Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, included some offensive/anti-Semitic language, along with a knock on Tannenbaum for the ill-fated Jets contract he gave to quarterback Mark Sanchez. (Tannenbaum now runs the Dolphins' front office.)
This was the text of that tweet: "Gotta respect ross for keeping his jew buddies employed but did he not see how tannenbaum put the jets in the dumpster w/that sanchez deal?"
Miko Grimes immediately lashed out on Twitter at those who perceived the tweet as anti-Semitic: "U think im gonna tweet racist remarks in an attempt to offend TWO PEOPLE?
