The press release below highlights several recent MetLife Stadium upgrades. I was at MetLife Stadium for the Jets and Giants preseason game on Friday, and they were noticeable. The sound in the stadium was so much clearer. It seemed to be a night and day difference compared to last year. Announcements were crisp, and the music finally didn’t seem overpowering. My old ears could hear everything for the first time in a long time.
The new video boards are a nice upgrade. Replays and in-game content looked sharp and were easier to follow.
The 5G piece is harder to judge with a preseason crowd.
